Robyn entered counselling as a mature age student after a
career in industrial computing, communication and
She began working with Lifeline Australia in 2005 as a
Telephone Counsellor and has provided over 800 hours of
telephone counselling since then.
Robyn completed the academic requirement for her
Graduate Diploma in Counselling in 2010 and has been
working as a face to face counsellor since July 2010. She
now has over 300 hours of personal counselling experience.
Robyn offers a quiet, relaxed, person centred style,
subscribing to the principles of unconditional positive
regard and respect for the client's expertise in their life.
While Robyn has worked with a number of different
counselling modalities, she has settled on ACT as a
preferred way of creating a rich and meaningful life.
Robyn has a particular interest in working with clients who
have a spiritual or faith background.
